We went to the city of MalmΓΆ, and spent about two hours walking around the historic downtown area.
We visited Malmohaus Castle, which the Swedish used as a fortress.
Just so I have proof that I was really in Sweden, too, here I am in front of another famous MalmΓΆ landmark, the Turning Torso (an apartment building with a unique design).
We also enjoyed walking in one of the local parks, which was just beautiful at the beginning of summer.
A trip to Sweden wouldn't be complete without some souvenirs. We found a great shop near the famous Lilla Torg square, complete with t-shirts, magnets, and bells!
We took the train back to Copenhagen, and even made it to dinner on time at 6pm....a real whirlwind of a trip across the border!
I'm glad to see that Sweden welcomes redheads too!
