Tower Views of Copenhagen ⛪️

I climbed two different towers today, for some wonderful views of Copenhagen. There were some clouds rolling through the area, but I was lucky enough to avoid most of the heavy rains (others in our group got caught in a downpour).

I climbed up the spire of Our Savior's Church with six brave La Roche students.

The steps on the inside were steep and narrow...

Almost as scary as the 150 steps on the outside of the spire!

We all made it to the top, and were very happy that we made it back down again before it started to rain!

I think the picture below is my favorite one of our Denmark adventures so far:

Next, I climbed the much "tamer" Round Tower.

No stairs here...just a ramp all the way up seven stories to the top!

Notice the spire of Our Savior's Church in the distance:

I was "towered out" today!

  1. A seven story ramp - the latest in handicap accessible tourist attractions and yet probably built centuries ago! On the other hand, where was OSHA when "Our Savior's" was built? :)
