First, we rode the spinning swings for a fabulous nighttime view of the city. You can see the swings in the center of this picture...it is the tall spire with the blue spokes (which is how high the swings are).
Then, we rode some roller coasters. We did three consecutive "laps" on one of the rides, since there were no lines of people waiting to get on. My personal favorite was "The Roller Coaster" which went into and out of a mountain, with lots of turns and dips, and some of it in the total dark...it may have even been better than the Seven Dwarves Mine Train at Disney!
The three La Roche students braved the newest roller coaster, with lots of upside down spins. I had just as much fun watching the laser light show on the lake.
We were disappointed when the rides started to close at 11:30...we wanted to ride all night long! There was a nice fireworks display before midnight to "top off" another exciting day in Copenhagen.
Tomorrow, we are headed to the Danish Countryside.
WOW !!!!
ReplyDeleteDouble WOW!!!! Loved the pictures. Those high swings remind me of the ones in Vegas on top of the Stratosphere Hotel.
